SPACEJUMP is excited to announce The Supersonic Cup Spring Minor and Summer Major series!
Featuring the all-ages esports title, Rocket League, these two tournaments will engage and entertain the Perth esports community as Western Australia’s best players battle it out for over $1,000 in prize money.

🌸 The Spring Minor 🌸
Designed as a qualifying pathway into SPACEJUMP’s Supersonic Cup Summer Major, this Spring Minor provides an event for Perth’s best Rocket League players to compete for $240 in prize money and a Grand Final feature at Perth Games Festival 2023!
In partnership with WA Games Week, the Spring Minor Grand Final will be held on September 23rd in Fremantle and help celebrate the amazing gaming and game development ecosystem within Western Australia.
Additionally, SPACEJUMP will be running yet another activation where attendees can play on our high-end Allied Gaming and AMD PCs and participate in a range of giveaways!

☀️ The Summer Major ☀️
Heralded as SPACEJUMP’s biggest event to date, The Supersonic Cup Summer Major will be closing out 2023 and leading Perth esports into the new year!
Held in the iconic Rechabite Hall on Sunday, January 14th, the Summer Major playoffs will unfold with the champions being crowned live on the day. Additionally, an array of market stalls and live entertainment will be on offer for crowds of all ages. From competitive esports to indie game features, and live DJs to incredible circus acts, you won’t want to miss it.






More specifically, the Summer Major tournament is made up of three stages, the Open Qualifier, Closed Qualifier, and the Playoffs. Notably, the top two teams from the Spring Minor will begin their tournament run in the second stage, increasing their chances of qualifying for the Playoffs due to their prior performance.
By offering $1000 for The Supersonic Cup Summer Major prize pool in addition to creating qualifying pathways to Perth’s largest esports’ event, SPACEJUMP aims to develop a Perth esports ecosystem where players have the opportunity to play in regular tournaments and at LAN events, meanwhile engaging local business and artists to create a premium event experience for diverse audiences.
