Current workshop offerings

AUGMENTED REALITY MARIO KART

Get ready to play Mario Kart like you've never played it before - in augmented reality!

Participants will spend some time turning the floor into custom-built racetracks before racing augmented reality karts through the circuits. Combining physical cars with a virtual race, experience all the fun of Mario Kart in a new and exciting way.

During this event, participants will:

  • Work in teams to brainstorm and create custom racetracks using lots of different building materials;

  • Get creative with arts and crafts to decorate their racetracks;

  • Take turns racing augmented reality karts through custom-built tracks using a Nintendo Switch.

This workshop can run all day (6 hours), half-day (3 hours), or for a short session (1.5 hours). Workshop content is tailored to the age group.

SPACEJUMP’s Esports Workshops provide students with a dynamic and immersive introduction to the world of competitive gaming.

Tailored specifically for high schools, these workshops go beyond gameplay to explore the rapidly growing esports industry and the diverse career opportunities it offers. Students will develop essential skills such as teamwork, strategic thinking, and communication while engaging in activities aligned with the Australian curriculum.

Our workshops are highly flexible, offering formats from short introductory sessions to in-depth, semester-long programs. Students can participate in everything from gaming training and strategy sessions to comprehensive programs where they plan, organize, and execute their own tournaments. By integrating esports into your school’s curriculum, you can offer students a unique and engaging learning experience that taps into their passions.
