SPACEJUMP Pty Ltd (a company operating as the Trustee for Lisfish Family Trust - ABN: 54 294 529 233) respects your right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers, suppliers, business partners, and website visitors (“You”). This policy sets out how SPACEJUMP Pty Ltd (“We”, “Us”, or “Our”) manages personal information and how we aim to adhere to the Australian Privacy Act 1998.

This Privacy Policy applies to SPACEJUMP Pty Ltd website www.spacejump.gg (“Website”) and all events managed by SPACEJUMP Pty Ltd (“Services” or “Events”).

The types of personal information that we collect directly from you depends on how you interact with us and may include:

a.       Contact details such as full name; date of birth; address, email address, and phone number;

a.       We collect personal information from you in a variety of ways, including when you interact with us electronically or in person, when we provide services to you, when you reserve a ticket to one of our events, if you are allocated a complimentary ticket to one of our events, when you subscribe to our mailing list, or when you complete one of our surveys.

We will use information held about you for the purposes of our legitimate interests insofar as there is a relationship between us. This will include the following uses:

a.       to ensure that content from our website is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer, mobile telephone and/or handheld device;

b.       to provide you with marketing updates and communications relating to products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you (including content and advertising tailored to your interests), but only where you have expressly consented to be contacted for such purposes;

c.       to communicate with you in relation to attendance at an event you have reserved tickets for. This will include the following used

i.      to provide you with an order confirmation email. This may also be your e-ticket for entry into an event;

ii.      to contact you with information about your purchase e.g. to let you know further details about an event you have purchased tickets for or to notify you if the event is cancelled;

iii.      to include your name on a door list for managing entry into an event;

iv.      to compile data on the preferences, needs and behaviours of attendees of SPACEJUMP Pty Ltd events to improve future services, experiences and programming; and

4.       Security and storage of your personal information

a.       We are committed to ensuring that the information you provide to us is secure. We may hold your information in electronic or hard copy format or a combination of both. We take physical, electronic, and procedural steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

b.       When you opt in to receive enewsletters from us, your personal data is stored in Mailchimp.

c.       When you are reserving a ticket or are allocated a complimentary ticket to one of our events, your data will be captured and stored by a third-party ticketing provider.

d.       We store your personal information indefinitely, or until such time as you request for it to be destroyed.

5.       Disclosure of your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties as outlined below:

a.       We may disclose your personal information to any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers, or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purpose set out in this policy. Personal information is only provided to a third party when it is required for the delivery of our services.

b.       Any accessibility requirements you provide to us will be passed onto relevant front of house staff and/or to venues/staff to accommodate any specific accessibility requests at our events.

c.       We may need to disclose personal information to comply with a legal requirement, such as law, regulation, court order, subpoena, warrant, in the course of legal proceeding or in response to law enforcement agency request.

d.       We may disclose your information in circumstances where there is a serious and imminent threat to your life, health, or safety or a serious threat to public health or public safety.

e.       Where we disclose your personal information to third parties, we will request that the third party follow this Policy regarding handling your personal information.

f.        Personal information is only disclosed to third parties in situations where you have consented to the transfer, or where there is a legitimate interest to disclose the information

a.       Australian Privacy Principal 12 permits you to obtain access to the personal information we hold about you in certain circumstances, and Australian Privacy Principal 13 allows you to correct inaccurate personal information subject to certain exceptions. 8.       GDPR

a.       In some circumstances, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides additional protection to individuals located in Europe. The fact that you may be located in Europe does not, however, on its own entitle you to protection under the GDPR. Our website does not specifically target customers located in the European Union and we do not monitor the behaviour of individuals in the European Union, and accordingly the GDPR does not apply.

c.       Our website utilises the Conversion Tracking Pixel service of Meta Platforms Inc. (https://www.facebook.com). This tool allows us to follow the actions of users after they are redirected to our website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. We are thus able to record the efficacy of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes. The collected data remains anonymous. This means that we cannot see the personal data of any individual user. However, the collected data is saved and processed by Facebook. Facebook is able to connect the data with your Facebook account and use the data for their own advertising purposes, in accordance with Facebook's Data Use Policy found under https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. Facebook Conversion Tracking also allows Facebook and its partners to show you advertisements on and outside Facebook. In addition, a cookie will be saved onto your computer/device for these purposes. We may display interest-based ads to you when you are using Facebook through this tool, allowing us to personalise our ads based on your shopping experience with us. We do not share any of your personal information, including your shopping history, with Facebook. The tool lets us convert your email address to a unique number that Facebook uses to match to unique numbers Facebook generates from email addresses of its users. 10.   Social Media

a.       We take no responsibility for any personal information you may post on any of SPACEJUMP Pty Ltd’s social media sites including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Any information or content created by you that is in the public domain may be shared by us. This may include, but is not limited to, publicly accessible information on social media sites, blogs, forums and websites. We will endeavour to credit content creators wherever possible.

11.   Data Breach

a.       Should SPACEJUMP Pty Ltd experience a Notifiable Data Breach as per the legal requirements of the Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches) Act 2017, we will provide notice to affected individuals as well as to the Australian Information Commissioner as outlined in the Act.
