Mario Kart AR

A common issue parents face in our modern world is balancing the increasing amount of time children are spending on their devices and ensuring that they receive the essential creative and social stimulus required for a healthy lifestyle.

Instead of spending hours playing video games at home, parents often prefer their children to get creative, make new friends in-person, and learn real-world skills if possible.

SPACEJUMP’s latest workshop, Mario Kart AR, reaps the benefits of both worlds!

By incorporating brainstorming, arts and crafts, teamwork, reflective thinking, and everyone’s favourite racing game, Mario Kart, all into one easy-to-deliver package, kids of all ages (and adults too!) can have fun in SPACEJUMP’s Mario Kart AR workshop!

Thanks to Nintendo's Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, which allows players to race a real-world Mario Kart using a Nintendo Switch, SPACEJUMP combines a wide variety of crafts and activities to create themed racing tracks where kids can learn practical social and cognitive skills while making friends and having fun.

Recently SPACEJUMP had the opportunity to work alongside the WA Museum Boola Bardip in delivering a series of sold-out school holiday workshops across the 22/23 summer school holidays.

To ensure SPACEJUMP’s events are of high quality, feedback is collected from each participant and it’s safe to say our recent Mario Kart AR workshops at the WA Museum were a hit! 98% of participants said they had a ton of fun and 96% would bring their friends along!

And to top it off, SPACEJUMP offers fun workshops during school holidays and custom programs for school incursions that can be tailored to fit your specific needs.
